The site was occupied by the Client’s existing house and surrounded by mature pine trees on adjoining properties. The Brief for a new house included a request that gutters could be cleaned of pine leaves – this informed the design of the roof which provides a 600mm x 200mm deep series of box gutters with discharge weirs in to industrial sized downpipes.
Lower levels are constructed in masonry with upper levels light weight.
