The balcony on the Hotel was collapsing and existing cast iron columns were corroding.
We were instrumental in a successful application for a Heritage Grant to The City of Adelaide for funding for the repairs.
All rotting timber was replaced. A number of cast iron columns were replaced with matching aluminium and balustrade panels were similarly replaced. A new internal structural steel safety rail was erected inside the veranda balustrade to satisfy current building codes.
